Do metronidazole revaginal tablets affect the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine?
Good morning I have started treatment today with metronidazole revaspital 500mg for 10 days. 2 days ago I took the vaccine for COVID-19 (AZ). Can metronidazole impair the effects of the vaccine in this first phase? Do you start treatment? Can it wait some time? If so, how much? Thank you and greet.

Nie, metronidazol stosowany dopochwowo ma działanie miejscowe (działa w obrębie tkanek, na które został podany), zatem nie ma wpływu na skuteczność szczepionki na COVID-19.
Proszę normalnie rozpocząć leczenie zgodnie z zaleceniami lekarza.
