Can a person with 0.2‰ alcohol in their blood be given Relanium?
Hello. A friend is an alcoholic. He went through therapies, but after a while he continued to start pic. Pil about a month of time. Today I stopped. He also has deep-eye depression, with discontinuation there are mental symptoms as well as pains, including pain in the breast. Already minelo a dozen hours from his last drink (at least I did not see something pil) and the stezenie in his body for several hours indicates a breathalyzer of 0.20%. Is it possible that alcohol can metabilise for so long? I would just add that he was indicated to take Relanium but he still does not sober up, so I guess he should not take it yet.

Długotrwałe spożywanie alkoholu może doprowadzić do tego, iż 0,2 promila będzie się utrzymywało jeszcze do kilku godzin (metabolizm może być spowolniony z powodu zaburzeń funkcji wątroby). Stężenie na poziomie 0,15 promila, może występować i jest to stężenie fizjologiczne.
Stężenie alkoholu we krwi na poziomie 0,2‰ rzeczywiście stanowi przeciwwskazanie do przyjmowania leku Relanium. Proszę poczekać, aż stężenie alkoholu we krwi spadnie i dopiero wtedy podać lek. U osób nadużywających alkoholu należy zachować szczególną ostrożność podczas terapii lekiem Relanium i postępować według zaleceń lekarza.
