If I am allergic to sulfonamides, can I use Tertensif SR?

I am allergic to Bactrim. Many years ago, after a single administration, I had circulatory disorders, scots in my eyes. I have now been given Tertensif SR because I started to have problems with high blood pressure and I read in the leaflet that one of the contraindications is allergy to sulfonamides. Can I take Tertensif?

For @Elzbieta: There are no contraindications to the use of Betadrin drops by people with allergy to sulfonamides.

Dziękuję. Zawsze przypominam na jakie leki jestem uczulona, bo jestem strasznym alergikiem. Lekarz ma też na wierzchu mojej karty na czerwono wypisane najważniejsze moje alergie. No cóż, to już nie pierwsza skucha tej lekarki. Staram się nie korzystać z jej porad, ale tym razem nie miałam wyjścia - była jedyna w przychodni. Ciężki czas i dla lekarzy i dla pacjentów. Jeszcze raz dziękuję.

Lek Bactrim jest lekiem złożonym zawierającym sulfametoksazol oraz trimeoprim. Sulfametoksazol jest antybiotykiem bakteriostatycznym z grupy sulfonamidów:

Indapamid zawarty w leku Tertensif SR jest substancją moczopędną z grupy sulfonamidów: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/78204/tertensif-sr-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka

W przypadku stwierdzenia uczulenia na jeden związek z danej grupy (w tym przypadku sulfonamidów) zaleca się unikania innych związków z grupy. Jeżeli zaburzenia krążenia i mroczki były spowodowane reakcją na zastosowanie sulfametoksazolu jest bardzo prawdopodobne, że indapamid wywoła podobną reakcję.

Zachęcam do konsultacji z lekarzem prowadzącym. Koniecznie proszę wspomnieć o epizodzie uczuleniowym.
