Hello to the Testosterone booster I was prescribed ovitrell (pen) 250 micrograms by Merck
The doctor told me to take it in small doses of 250 IU every 3 days
Is 250iu one twist of a semi-automatic pen pen or maybe 2 twists?
Please answer.

Ovitrelle contains 250 micrograms of chorionic gonadotropin alfa in 0.5 ml (equivalent to around 6500 international units). It is a medicine in the form of a disposable automatic pen. If your doctor has recommended the use of fewer international units of the preparation than is in a single dose of the drug, you should receive detailed guidelines related to the administration of the drug. The manufacturer does not specify how many "clicks" there are in the whole pen, which does not allow to clearly mark the connection between the dose of the drug and the revolutions performed.
The use of the drug in a lower dose is an "off-label" use. In this case, the doctor recommending it is responsible for the entire therapy.
If your doctor has not given you appropriate instructions on how to use the drug, I encourage you to consult again. You can also take advantage of a paid teleconsultation in Polish arranged e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

We wrote more about the use of "off-label" in the article:
