Abrupt discontinuation of Zoloft should be avoided. The dose should be reduced gradually over a period of at least one or two weeks to reduce the risk of a withdrawal reaction. If symptoms of discontinuation occur after dose reduction or after discontinuation of treatment, re-administration of the recommended dose should be considered (after consultation with your doctor).
The dose of 0.25 is very small. If you have gradually reduced the dosage, I suggest that you discontinue the drug after 7-10 days and assess the situation. For the first few days after stopping use, you may feel a deterioration in your well-being (the problem will disappear on its own). Bothersome ailments after discontinuation of the drug are an indication for consultation with a doctor.
