Gazyvaro is not the so-called "chemotherapy", but immunotherapy. It is a monoclonal antibody, more specifically a humanized type II monoclonal antibody of the IgG1 subclass, directed against CD20. In some indications, it may be given in combination with chemotherapy (so-called immunochemotherapy). Indications for use in accordance with the Summary of Product Characteristics are chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) and follicular lymphoma in certain patient groups. The drug is administered in the so-called cycles, lasting 28 days. Depending on the indication, the dosage and duration of therapy are different. Gazyvaro is administered intravenously by infusion.
