If I received Duphaston for 10 days and after 5 days I got my period, is it normal? It was prescribed to me to induce my period, after stopping contraceptive pills. The doctor said that she had already ovulated and I should take duphaston for 10 days, but I took it before 5 and got my period. I want to go back to the pills again and can I treat today as day 1 of the menstrual cycle and do I finish duphaston?

Bleeding while taking Duphaston is one of the common side effects of Duphaston medicine. Do not interrupt the recommended treatment.
I attach additional opinions in similar queries:
You should count the first day of bleeding after the end of the Duphaston treatment as the first day of your cycle. I encourage you to consult your doctor about your desire to return to contraceptive pills. Bleeding should occur 7-14 days after the end of the drug, which we wrote about, for example, in the opinion:
If you have any doubts about the use of Duphaston, I encourage you to consult your doctor again. You can also take advantage of a paid teleconsultation arranged, for example, via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

I also encourage you to report any side effects of the drug. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over commercially available medicines. We wrote more about how and why to report side effects in the article:
