The red color of the urine most often indicates the presence of blood (haematuria), which may accompany a urinary tract infection or nephritis, but Jardiance withdrawal alone and increased fluid intake are usually not the direct cause of such conditions. A viral infection rarely leads to the typical bacterial urinary tract infection, although a general weakness of the body can promote superinfections.
In this situation, urgent laboratory diagnostics are necessary – including a general urine test and determination of renal parameters. I recommend that you do not delay with a medical consultation, as it may be necessary to implement appropriate treatment.
