Hello. I've been trying to cure pinworm for several years.
The problem is that I have parasites in my urine – every few months I feel a throbbing at the level of the kidneys, I have a fever, and in the urine sample you can see small moving points and dead, larger individuals. Especially after eating/drinking sweets. I take owix and it doesn't work. Can it be cured?

These symptoms may indicate a very advanced pinworm.
With very advanced pinworms caused by Enterobius vermicularis, treatment with drugs such as mebendazole, albendazole or pyrantel is necessary, with mandatory repetition of the dose after 2 weeks. At the same time, it is necessary to treat all household members and introduce strict hygiene, especially hand washing, short nails and a daily change of underwear and bedding. Without thorough cleaning and washing at high temperatures, recurrences often occur, as the parasite's eggs spread easily. Home methods can only support treatment, but they will not replace pharmacotherapy in severe cases.
Please consult your family doctor, if he considers it justified, he will refer you to a parasitologist or infectious disease specialist.
An introduction to further diagnostics can be a teleconsultation, e.g.
