Berberine can cause a decrease in blood pressure. Simultaneous use of both preparations may cause additive hypotensive effects and the occurrence of side effects related to it (e.g. dizziness, imbalance during change of position, etc.). Blood pressure should be systematically monitored when using both preparations at the same time.
