On 24.01.26 I was placed with an implanon implant. There was minimal bruising and little pain at the site of the implantation. Without any other ailments. For about a week now, I noticed that there was a rash on the length of the implant (felt under the skin in place). I have no other ailments, e.g. pain. Is this a cause for concern?

The appearance of bruising at the implant site is normal and is not a cause for concern. Sometimes pain or swelling may also be observed. These symptoms do not affect the contraceptive efficacy of the implant.
