Due to the lack of precise guidelines from the doctor, it is safest to contact the clinic to confirm whether the medication is to be used alternately (e.g. morning/evening) or in a specific sequence.
Such a combination of ingredients (steroid, antibiotic and exfoliant) is often used to treat skin inflammation with excessive keratinization, but these preparations are rarely applied "on top of each other" at the same time. Salicylic ointment is usually used to prepare the skin – it removes keratinized epidermis, which allows the other drugs (Akriderm and streptocidal ointment) to penetrate deeper and work more effectively.
It is best to use salicylic ointment in the morning (to soften the skin) and Akriderm and streptocidal ointment in the evening, keeping the distance between them. Recipe mixing: Sometimes doctors recommend mixing small portions of these medications in the palm of your hand immediately before application, but this should only be done if your doctor has specifically instructed you to do so.
If you have to apply them close to each other temporarily, first apply a salicylic ointment, wait about 30 minutes, and then apply medicinal drugs (steroid and antibiotic). After applying Akriderm (a strong steroid), wash your hands thoroughly and do not apply occlusive dressings (foil, plasters) unless your doctor has indicated otherwise.
