As a pharmacist, I strongly advise against abruptly discontinuing Tezeo (telmisartan) without first consulting your doctor.

Abrupt discontinuation of antihypertensive therapy can lead to the so-called rebound effect, i.e. a sharp and dangerous increase in blood pressure, which increases the risk of serious cardiovascular events, such as heart attack or stroke.

If you want to stop taking the drug because of side effects or the feeling that your blood pressure is already "normal", talk to your doctor about gradually reducing the dose or changing to another one. Please remember that the treatment of hypertension is usually a chronic process, and good measurement results result from regular intake of the drug.

If you are not able to use a stationary visit, I attach a link to the online teleconsultation:

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
