The absence of a gallbladder is not a contraindication to the use of Diclac suppositories. All NSAIDs should be used with caution in patients with gastrointestinal and liver problems. The medicinal product should be used for as short a time as possible and at the lowest possible effective doses.
Contraindications to the use of Diclac suppositories:
Hypersensitivity to diclofenac,
Active or history of gastric and/or duodenal ulcer disease, bleeding or perforation,
Gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation associated with previous treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
The last trimester of pregnancy,
Liver failure.
Kidney failure.
Heart failure, ischaemic heart disease, peripheral vascular disease and/or cerebrovascular disease,
Asthma (worsening with NSAIDs)
Inflammation of the rectum or anus.
