In this situation, I encourage you to discontinue the use of Hydroquinene (chloroquine) and urgently consult your doctor or dermatologist.
Hydroquenin (hydroxychloroquine) may cause allergic reactions or fluid retention in some people, which requires evaluation by a doctor. I encourage you not to continue the therapy and to immediately contact a doctor or go to the emergency room if the symptoms worsen (difficulty breathing, rapid swelling).
