Pitamet (pitavastatin) and Romazic (rosuvastatin) are not blood thinners and do not have an anticoagulant effect. They do not directly affect clotting or increase the risk of bleeding.
Pitavastatin and rosuvastatin lower cholesterol and reduce cardiovascular risk by another mechanism. If you are taking anticoagulants or are prone to bleeding, it is worth discussing the entire therapy with your doctor.
