Do not stop taking the drug without consulting your doctor. If the bleeding is intense and persistent, it is worth consulting a doctor as soon as possible.
Any side effects you observe should be reported to your doctor who will decide on further action.

When you use Distreptase, you are more likely to bleed - a side effect that is described as rare, i.e. in ≥1/10,000 to <1/1,000 people who use the medicine.
The risk of bleeding increases with the simultaneous use of anticoagulant agents (which are not recommended to be taken in combination with the preparation).
