Can a 5-year-old child be given Montelukast 5mg if there was no dose of 4mg in the pharmacy?

They prescribed montelukast 4 mg. But you can't find it in our village. I found 5 mg. Can I give it to a child at 5 years old

Montelukast 5 mg is recommended for children aged 6 to 14 years. Do not administer a higher dose without consulting your pediatrician. Montelukast comes under different trade names - it is worth checking if there is a substitute available in pharmacies in the same dose of 4 mg. Below is a list of substitutes:
