Could taking Dezamigr cause tinnitus and progressive labyrinth damage?

Good morning, as I can remember, three years ago, when I started taking Dezamigrem for migraine pain during menstruation, I developed tinnitus, which I struggle with to this day. As a result, my labyrinth was damaged, every year 20% more damage to the labyrinth. Could this be the reason for taking this drug?

Dezamigrene contains almotriptan, which as an anti-migraine triptan can cause tinnitus and dizziness as transient side effects, which agrees with your symptoms after starting therapy three years ago, but permanent and progressive damage to the labyrinth is rare and usually associated with other causes.

Tinnitus is sometimes associated with ototoxic drugs that damage the inner ear, including the labyrinth. Consult an ENT specialist or neurologist to assess the labyrinth and rule out other causes such as infections or injuries – and do not continue therapy without medical advice.
