Should I go to the doctor if I accidentally applied Ciprotic eye drops?
12.99 zł

Good morning
by accident I applied Ciprotic drops for otitis to my eye - one drop. It was a bit hellish, but I thought it was normal. Today I realized that I was wrong. The eye doesn't hurt at all, but is it necessary to consult a doctor? What should I do? Plus, could it have affected the effectiveness of oral hormonal contraception?

If you do not observe worrying symptoms, there is no need to consult a doctor. The product is not intended for use in the eyes, but a single, accidental application of a small amount should not cause visual disturbances or other worrying side effects.

This situation did not affect the effectiveness of the contraceptive pills in any way. The protection is maintained and there is no reason to worry. Continue taking the tablets as planned.
