Yes, Żuravit (containing cranberry extract) can be given together with the antibiotic Zinnat – it does not interact significantly with this medicine.
However, it is worth keeping a 2-3 hour break between taking the preparation with cranberries and the antibiotic so as not to affect the absorption of the drug.
Cranberries can support the urinary tract, but they are not a substitute for antibiotic treatment. If Zinnat has been prescribed for another reason (e.g. respiratory tract, ear or sinus infection), it is worth consulting a doctor to rule out a complication after antibiotics. Remember that your child should drink plenty of water and use antibiotics as prescribed by their doctor.
