Hello, I have been prescribed mesoprosal 40 30 minutes before a meal in the morning 1x a day and Prokit 50 30 minutes after a meal 3x 1 tablet a day, in the leaflet it is written that Prokit should be taken before a meal and not after it, is the dosage well prescribed or could the doctor have made a mistake?

In clinical trials and recommendations, Prokit is used before eating so that it can work in time. Then it works best for emptying the stomach and dyspeptic symptoms.
The medicine could be used after a meal in exceptional situations, e.g. if the doctor wants to reduce side effects (nausea, diarrhoea), but this is not standard procedure. Therefore, it is worth asking the attending physician whether such dosage was intentional or an accidental mistake.
There are also no contraindications to the simultaneous use of Prokit and Mesopral, so this should not be a reason for changing the dosage.
