Hello. If I give a 1.5-year-old child a drink of water at night a few hours after taking 2 ml of Dicogel Gastro, won't it cause reflux? The same question applies to the administration of formula milk during sleep.

Dicogel Gastro is an anti-reflux syrup that creates a barrier in the stomach to prevent stomach acid from backing up. Giving water a few hours after the medication should not cause reflux, as well as formula milk during sleep, although it is important not to overfeed the baby at night.
It is recommended that you administer the medicine as prescribed by your doctor and monitor your child for reflux symptoms. If difficulties arise, it is worth consulting a pediatrician again.
