Efluelda is on the list of reimbursed medicines, but it is not available free of charge. It is a more concentrated vaccine, dedicated to seniors from the age of 60. The vaccine is reimbursed for people over 65 years of age and costs PLN 81.72, while for people between 60 and 65 years of age its cost is PLN 163.44 (100%).

Vaxigrip Tetra and Influvac Tetra vaccines are also available, indicated for adults and children from 6 months of age. They are much more cost-effective. The 50% payment can be used by all adults up to 65 years of age - the price of Vaxigrip Tetra after reimbursement is PLN 26.86, and Influvac Tetra - PLN 26.41. The cost of these vaccines for 100% is - PLN 53.26 and PLN 52.81, respectively. These vaccines are also available free of charge for children from 6 months to 18 years of age, seniors under the Medicines 65+ program and pregnant women under the Pregnancy+ program. I encourage you to consult a doctor who will choose the right preparation.

What is worth knowing is that anyone over the age of 18 can get vaccinated against influenza at a pharmacy, and this service is free. In addition, a pharmacist can issue a reimbursed pharmaceutical prescription for the vaccine at a pharmacy. I recommend our article:
