Good morning, is it erythema after a tick? Photos from 4 days, diameter 2cm. I didn't find a tick. We went to the doctor and he prescribed an antibiotic, but for a shorter period of time, because he was not sure.

If you have any doubts, it would be best to consult an infectious disease doctor. A pharmacist is not authorized in this area.
If it is redness after a mosquito bite – it should disappear after applying a gel, e.g. Fenistil, Allertec Foxill or a cream with a steroid (e.g. hydrocortisone).
At the moment, the child should be given an antibiotic prescribed by the doctor.
Usually, an antibiotic is recommended in the case of symptoms of Lyme disease, not prophylactically.
If erythema persists after the end of antibiotic therapy and other disturbing symptoms appear, e.g. fever, muscle pain, malaise, swelling – you should urgently consult an infectious disease doctor.
At this time, please follow your doctor's instructions.
