Sutrisept aerosol is used as a means of cleaning and disinfecting wounds of various origins. Depending on the type of wound and the dressing used, Sutrisept can be used directly on the tissues or to soak a compress, which should be applied to the wound surface for 5-10 minutes (the second method allows soaking and painless removal of adhering dressings). The silver dressing should be applied to the washed and cleaned wound. Some silver dressings, such as Atrauman Ag or Aquacel Ag, require the use of an additional protective dressing, e.g. gauze fixed with a plaster. The dressing prepared in this way can remain on the wound for several days (follow the instructions of the doctor or nurse treating the wound).
