Although Klabax (clarithromycin) can affect the heart rate, it is more likely that the increase in heart rate may be related to the disease.
Fever, infections (including bacterial) and related dehydration of the heart are just some of the conditions that can cause the heart rate to increase. In the case of ongoing treatment, such as antibiotic therapy, both the drug and the disease itself can affect the cardiovascular system.
