Gripex contains pseudoephedrine, which can raise blood pressure. Cardiac patients should avoid the use of combination drugs containing pseudoephedrine (e.g. Gripex, Ibuprom Zatoki, Tabcin). A better solution will be to take medicines containing paracetamol alone (possibly with the addition of vitamin C, e.g. Efferalgan C, Apap C plus) if the symptoms of a cold are accompanied by pain and/or fever. It is worth using naturally strengthening products, containing, for example, elderberry extracts, which are safe for patients with cardiovascular diseases, e.g. Grinovita forte, Verbascon. Rest and proper hydration of the body are very important.
