When taking Aripiprazole, some patients may experience an increase in prolactin levels. This is uncommon, in ≥1/1,000 to <1/100 patients. High levels of prolactin can lead to inhibited ovulation and fertility problems. Of course, each body reacts differently to treatment and this type of ailment does not have to occur in you. If you are using this drug and observe menstrual disorders, I encourage you to consult a gynaecologist who will help determine their cause and recommend the right treatment in this situation.
