I've been using Nebicard for over two years. For over a year I have had terrible skin problems - rash in the form of small itchy Chrostki that have recently started to come out under my eyes and near my eyelids. Could this be the reason for using this drug? No ointments prescribed by doctors help... Should I stop taking this medicine?

Nebicard (nebivolol) is rare, but may cause a variety of skin side effects, including rash and itching. Symptoms that appear after prolonged use may indicate a hypersensitivity reaction, especially if they do not subside despite dermatological treatment.
If the ointments do not bring any improvement, the drug should not be discontinued on its own, as abrupt discontinuation of beta-blocker therapy may lead to a temporary worsening of heart failure and a dangerous exacerbation of symptoms, especially in patients with angina or heart disease. I encourage you to contact your treating physician immediately to assess whether your symptoms are related to Nebicard and decide whether to change your treatment or introduce appropriate therapy.
Please note that any side effects of medications should be reported immediately to your doctor or pharmacist. Reporting these events helps to protect the health of other patients, including your loved ones, who may be using the same medicine in the future. In addition, such notifications make it possible to collect and update data on the safety of medicinal products.
