Unless otherwise recommended by the prescribing physician, the initial dose of Mounjaro is 2.5 mg once a week. Only after 4 weeks is the dose increased to 5 mg once a week. Do not modify the recommended dosage on your own - starting treatment with a higher dose may be associated with increased side effects of the drug.
