Can malaise, fatigue, drowsiness and headaches be the result of too low prolactin after Dostinex?
15.00 zł

I have a question a month ago I did a prolactin test, I was 34, the doctor prescribed me dostinex 2x a week for 0.5, I'm already after the 6th dose, today I did a check-up, my tests came out below normal, for a week I feel very bad, I'm being treated for depression, I feel an increase in depression, terrible fatigue and increased sweating, drowsiness and headache, can these effects be caused by low prolactin?

Too low prolactin is not usually associated with serious clinical symptoms, but it can cause malaise, fatigue, drowsiness and headaches. Dostinex (cabergoline) may make the symptoms of depression worse.

It is advisable to consult your doctor as soon as possible about adjusting the dose of the drug.

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
