Hi.
As contraception, I use the Implanon Nxt contraceptive implant.
I take Omega 3 fatty acids. My omega vitamins contain a mixture of tocopherols. Can the tocopherol mixture weaken the contraceptive effect of Implanon Nxt?
I also take collagen. My collagen contains 50 mg of vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. Can collagen, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C reduce the contraceptive effect of Implanon Nxt?

Mixed tocopherols are different forms of vitamin E that act as antioxidants. They do not affect the effectiveness of the Implanon Nxt contraceptive implant. They do not affect the metabolism of the hormones contained in the implant, so you can safely use them together.
