Can you give Pecto Drill sucks to a 9 year old?

Good morning, the doctor today prescribed pecto drill 750mg for my 9-year-old to thin the nasal secretion cough, and the leaflet says that it is only for adults. Can it be given to a 9-year-old ?supposedly calculated according to the child's weight, he prescribed 1 tablet 2 times a day (1x in the morning and 1 time until 4 p.m.)
