Augmentin can be used in women who are breastfeeding.

According to e-lactancia.org (an international database describing the safety of drugs during lactation, based on the latest scientific sources), amoxicillin with clavulanic acid contained in the Augmentin antibiotic is classified as "low risk" – i.e. substances whose use does not pose a risk to the breastfed child and the lactation process.

Therefore, this drug can be used during breastfeeding.
