How to apply Budixon Neb in a child?

Good morning. We are prescribed budixon 0.5 times after the ampoule, but the doctor wrote that when hoarseness or cough is melted, barking should be done for 30 to 60 minutes, so how am I supposed to understand it, i.e. despite administering these 2, if such symptoms occur, can I take another dose? Won't it hurt the child?

To @Aneta:

Mucopect Kids (mucolytic drug), Budixon Neb (inhaled steroid) and Verrumal (topical wart preparation) act on different systems and usually do not interact directly.

Vomiting and diarrhea can be the result of an infection, medication or intolerance. Please consult with your treating doctor to assess the situation, especially if symptoms worsen, persist, or dehydration occurs.

Hello, is it possible to combine mucopect kids syrup with budixon neb inhalations and lubricate the warts with verrumal at the same time, the syrup and inhalations were prescribed by the family doctor and verrumal by the surgeon, the children had vomiting and diarrhea, can these drugs interact with each other?

If you are not sure how to give Budixon Neb to your child, consult your doctor again. You can also take advantage of teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-pediatra

Improper use of Budixon Neb increases the risk of side effects.

According to the leaflet, the treatment of croup syndrome (i.e. acute inflammation of the larynx, trachea and bronchitis, regardless of its etiology, associated with significant narrowing of the upper respiratory tract, dyspnea or "barking" cough leading to respiratory disorders) may involve the administration of 2 mg budesonide (i.e. 2 full ampoules of Budixon Neb 500 mg/ml) in a single dose or in a divided dose of 1 mg with an interval of 30 minutes. This dosing method can be repeated every 12 hours, up to a maximum of 36 hours, or until the patient's condition improves. This use of the drug should be determined by your doctor. Unfortunately, it is difficult to deduce from the description you have given what the doctor meant in the case of your child.

I encourage you to read our description of inhalation:
