The combination of Reagila and Relanium may provide short-term relief, but it is not an optimal therapeutic regimen for treating alcoholism.
Reagila, an antipsychotic medicine, is not normally used to treat alcohol dependence. It works by modulating the activity of dopamine and serotonin receptors in the brain, which can improve mood and reduce psychotic symptoms.
Relanium, a sedative, may help relieve alcohol withdrawal symptoms.
It can help to alleviate the symptoms of alcohol withdrawal syndrome, however, its use in people with alcohol dependence should be limited as it can lead to dependence on benzodiazepines.
Long-term treatment of addiction should include psychotherapy and appropriate medications, such as naltrexone or nalmefene, which directly affect alcohol cravings.
