The half-life is the time after which the concentration of the drug observed in the blood will be halved as a result of its elimination from the body.
As Madopar is a prescription medicine, any changes in dosage should be preceded by consultation with your doctor. It is the doctor who makes the decision to change the drug to another based on the patient's health condition. Due to the risk of deterioration of health as well as the lack of control over the progression of the disease, it is not recommended to discontinue medication on your own.
If you are unable to contact your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:

At the next visit, it is worth mentioning the side effects to the doctor and thinking together about further treatment options.
If you have been taking the drug for only 4 days, it is worth considering continuing the therapy. Side effects often appear in the initial phase of treatment and disappear over time.
According to the information from the drug manufacturer, the elimination half-life
levodopa is about 1.5 hours. Therefore, 3 hours after taking the drug, it is removed from the body.
Here you can check the availability of the drug with the possibility of reserving it at the pharmacy:

In the meantime, I encourage you to report adverse reactions occurring after using the drug. We wrote more about how to do it and why it is worth it in this article:
