I've been using Efudix twice a day for three weeks on two pinhead-sized spots on the bridge of my nose. Significant redness is visible, minimal bleeding in one place, all harmless and tolerable. Peeling of the skin or crusting, as often described, does not happen to me. Should I use the cream for another week or is the redness of the skin enough to achieve the desired effect?
I would appreciate a pertinent hint. Thank you very much.

Redness and irritation of the skin are typical side effects of using Efudix cream. This means that your body responds correctly to the treatment and the therapeutic process is proceeding as expected.
According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, the typical duration of treatment with Efudix cream is 2-4 weeks. Efudix cream should be continued until erosion, at which point the medicinal product should be discontinued. It's hard to judge from such a short description and one photo.
In this situation, I encourage you to consult your doctor again. It is the doctor who decides on the possible treatment of the patient, m.in. on the basis of the patient's medical history and previous response to treatment. Only the doctor can decide whether to change the pharmacotherapy. If you do not have the opportunity to take advantage of the advice, I am attaching a link to the online teleconsultation:
