Does the effect of the patch change if after the 4th week (week of period), I forgot to apply the plating, but I applied it less than 48 hours after the normal day of changing the patch?

If you forget to apply the patch after a 7-day break (even if it is two days), the "Patch Change Day" and "Day 1" change, and for the first 7 days you should use an additional form of contraception, e.g. a condom, as the protection against pregnancy may not be fully maintained. If you have had intercourse during a prolonged period of more than 7 days off, the possibility of pregnancy should be considered.
