I understand that you are experiencing worrying symptoms, such as severe dizziness and vomiting, while taking Ozempic. It is possible that these symptoms may be related to the effects of this medication.

Ozempic (liraglutide) is a medication used to treat type 2 diabetes that may also help with weight loss. However, like any medication, it can cause some side effects in some people.

Heartburn and acid reflux are side effects that can occur when using Ozempic.

Dizziness and vomiting are known side effects of Ozempic. In some cases, dizziness can be linked to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), which can also be a side effect of Ozempic. These may occur especially at the beginning of treatment or when the dose is increased.

If they are severe and cause fainting, you should contact your doctor immediately, as this may indicate more serious problems. Consulting with your doctor after your hospital visit is crucial to accurately assess whether your dizziness is related to taking Ozempic or to other health problems. Your doctor may advise you to change your dose or treatment depending on your condition and how you respond to the medicine.

I encourage you to report the symptoms you are experiencing to your doctor, as well as to report the occurrence of an adverse reaction of the preparation. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over the medicines available on the market. We wrote more about how and why to report side effects in the article:

Hello, I also took the drug for about 1 year, at the time of taking it was quite ok with my well-being, as the most the drug worked mainly for the first half of the year. After a complete withdrawal after two weeks I started to feel very unwell, I did all possible tests and everything is ok, but I still feel bad, shaking hands, internal nervousness, chills, cold, passing internal anxiety, the doctor stated anxiety, neurosis, but he said that no one knows enough about the side effects after stopping ozempic to be the reason, but I think that it may be the case after a sudden discontinuation and taking the drug for such a long time
