How much should Tribux be discontinued before gastroscopy?
9.99 zł

I take Tribux 2-3 times a day for bowel function, do I have to stop taking it before gastroscopy? If so, how many days before?

All you need to do is not use the medication on the day of the test. The day before gastroscopy, you can normally take all 2-3 doses of the drug, which will not affect the result of the test.

Tribux has a short-term effect - so it is necessary to take several doses at short intervals. Therefore, maintaining an interval of about 12-14 hours between taking the last dose of the drug and the test will be sufficient.
