Can Amertil and Jovesto be combined?

Can I use Jovesto in the morning and Amertil in the evening at the same time? I also use Metmin aerosol 2x a day, thank you for your reply and best regards

Jovesto and Amertil are second-generation antihistamines and contain different active substances, desloratadine and cetirizine, respectively. Taking two antiallergic substances with the same mechanism of action at the same time increases the risk of side effects and does not improve the effectiveness of treatment. Therefore, the combination of Amertil and Jovesto is generally not recommended.
If the use of one medication does not bring effective results, it is worth considering switching to another. It is worth remembering that in order to ensure a better therapeutic effect, anti-allergic drugs should be used regularly for a longer period of time, and not on an ad hoc basis.
