Why is the price for 1 dose of Mounjaro 5mg between 255 and 500 USD?

Why is the price for 1 dose of Mounjaro 5mg between 255 and 500 USD? Isn't this some kind of price collusion of the pharmacy mafia in agreement with the distributor, i.e. the Polish branch of EliLilly? Folks, don't you see THEY stealing from you in broad daylight???

Madam Editor, does anyone pay you to write such pharmazones and make idiots out of people? Nothing can justify such differences in the price of the same drug in different pharmacies. If there are pharmacies where the price is about PLN 260 (I assume that they do not pay extra for the drug out of their own pocket, but sell with a normal margin), how can you justify the price at the level of PLN 500 for the same thing in another pharmacy? Only the pharmacy's margin reaching several hundred %, which is a vulgar preying on patients and, to call it what it is, stealing from them in white gloves. You seem to have forgotten that Mounjaro is a preparation obtained from a pharmacy only on the basis of a prescription, so what advice given in a pharmacy are you talking about in this case? Unless you mean informing the buyer that the drug should be kept in the refrigerator and what syringe is best to use for injection. Indeed, such advice justifies selling the drug 2x more expensive than elsewhere. The greed of some pharmacists knows no bounds of shame. Just to line their own pockets at the expense of patients. This is the famous ethics of pharmacists in our country.

The differences in Mounjaro prices are the result of a variety of factors, including the manufacturer's pricing policy, the pharmacies' margins and the cost of distribution. Price differences may occur between different pharmacies, regions or wholesalers. These differences are not always the result of price collusion or abuse.

In addition, despite possible price differences in the case of non-reimbursed drugs, the quality of service or the possibility of obtaining competent advice is also very important for many patients, and these are immeasurable values. You can read more about this in our article:

GdziePoLek is not a portal with a typical "price ranking" profile. The portal provides data on the availability of medicines in cooperating pharmacies, we also answer patients' questions and publish content about health and medicines for them. GdziePoLek also allows you to book a drug and pick it up at a pharmacy. You can read more about it in the article:

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
