When administered Ascoril, it contains salbutamol, bromhexine, guaiagenazine and menthol. The preparation has expectorant and mucolytic effects, m.in. The syrup is recommended for the treatment of wet (productive) cough with the formation of a hard-to-expectorate discharge and in diseases of the respiratory organs accompanied by bronchospasm (pneumonia, pulmonary tuberculosis, tracheobronchitis, chronic obstructive bronchitis). The preparation is not available in Polish.
If your child has a wet cough that does not go away, I encourage you to consult a doctor. You can also take advantage of teleconsultation via e.g. the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

Sinecod drops are intended for children over 2 months and are used to relieve dry cough attacks. The drops inhibit the cough reflex and slightly dilate the bronchi, making it easier to breathe. It is completely opposite to Ascoril and should not be given in wet cough (except for use at night).
The preparation is available in online and brick-and-mortar pharmacies. Choosing the offer of an online pharmacy allows you to compare prices and order the preparation with home delivery or personal collection at the pharmacy of your choice:

In cities such as Warsaw, Wrocław, Łódź, Lublin, Krakow or Białystok, products can be ordered with instant delivery even in 1 hour thanks to the Wolt Drive service - check if the service is available in your location:
