We have information from the manufacturer that from Monday 11.03.2024 Atenza (a substitute for Concerta) will be put into stock in wholesalers. More here:

In Germany, you can try to get medications available, with a Polish certificate and a visit to a German psychiatrist. Unfortunately, you won't get a Polish prescription. There they have no problems with accessibility. Why is it surprising that the manufacturer does not want to sell to us, if the ministry says that they see overdiagnoses because they issue more prescriptions... With several thousand diagnostics on a national scale... those prescriptions that we can't buy. Years ago, according to the same people, I used to make things up as a kid because I was intelligent, it was enough to keep me focused, right? They told their parents that ADHD didn't exist. Today, they treat you like a junkie, especially when you don't have a childhood diagnosis:)

I'm afraid that the application to the manufacturer won't bring much. The manufacturer ensures regular deliveries, but is not able to increase its processing capacity.
Interest in this drug is constantly at a very high level.
Unfortunately, the situation also applies to other medications, including, for example, diabetes, obesity or antibiotics.
You mean the change to Medikinet, but it has a different release than Concerta, which makes it work badly for some people, and besides, it is more expensive. What needs to happen for the situation to change? After all, the problem has been going on for months, if not years. Can't the pharmacists (or anyone else, the Minister of Health, I don't know) make a STRONG appeal to the producer, since it is up to them to determine the amount of exports? I'm 30 years old, and what are 8-year-old children with ADHD who are without medication supposed to say?

I contacted the manufacturer today. The drug is constantly being delivered to wholesalers – most likely, these are very small quantities that are not able to meet the huge needs of patients, hence the shortages. This week, the drug should be available, m.in. at the Neuca wholesaler.
It is not known when or if the situation will improve - it may be worth considering changing the treatment method (after consulting a doctor) - the same substance is available in pharmacies, but in different doses and with a different release profile, so it is necessary to consult a doctor and determine the correct dosage method.
