Good morning! Can I use Lactovaginal vaginal probiotic after intercourse (with ejaculation)? I have a problem with a recurrent intimate infection, I took medication and I have the end of therapy and so far I am using vaginal probiotics.

Vaginal probiotics can be used as a supplement to treatment. They can also be taken in the case of recurrent intimate infections (as prophylaxis - also after intercourse) and prevention of infections in the case of hormonal contraception. Until you have fully recovered, it is advisable to refrain from vaginal intercourse, as there is a risk of worsening the situation if not all symptoms have disappeared (plus your partner may also become infected). It is definitely a good idea to use condoms until you are 100% cured.
