Is it normal to have a rash with Efracea?

Hello. For about a month (I used 1 packet) of taking Efracea it has spilled a lot on my face and neck. These are red, also small purulent eruptions like acne. Is this a normal process, I'm wondering if I should continue to take another pack?

Rash is one of the rare side effects of Efracea.
The risk of these types of lesions on the skin increases when the skin is exposed to sunlight. According to the manufacturer:

"All patients taking doxycycline, including Efracea, should avoid excessive sunlight or artificial ultraviolet light while taking doxycycline and discontinue therapy if signs of phototoxicity (e.g. skin rash, etc.) occur. Consider using sunscreen or UV blockers. Treatment should be discontinued at the first sign of photosensitivity."

If you notice any side effects, you should report them to your doctor, who will decide what to do next. You can find out why you should report adverse drug reactions here:
