Why after stopping the drug therapy Duphaston Did I experience spotting instead of bleeding?

Good morning, I took two packets of duphostan, after them I got two normal menstrual periods, but the third one came on time, but instead of menstruation, only spotting. Is this normal?

Spotting instead of bleeding may be one of the side effects of Duphaston. Spotting may also indicate a lack of effectiveness of the therapy, e.g. when the drug is used in the absence of menstruation. I encourage you to consult a doctor who will suggest appropriate therapeutic treatment.
