I've been taking Xarelto 20 for the third month. Can new blood clots form during an anticoagulant treatment with Xarelto 20?

In the Material Safety Data Sheet we can read that the mechanism of anticoagulant action is based on selective and direct inhibition of the activity of factor Xa, so the drug is designed to interrupt the blood coagulation cascade, which in turn leads to the inhibition of clot production. Elsewhere in the same Summary of Product Characteristics, it is stated that the effect of inhibiting the coagulation cascade depends on the dose of the drug. On this basis, it can be concluded that the likelihood of new blood clots developing is low, provided that the dosage has been set correctly.
